About Stockwell

Stockwell emails you when a SKU drops below your threshold or goes out of stock, across every location you run. That is the whole product. It is built by one person rather than a team, which is the reason it does one thing rather than ten.

Who writes these guides

Fazeel Tanveer, Founder. Builds and runs Stockwell. Writes the guides on this site. Every guide on this site carries that byline because somebody should be accountable for advice about spending money, including the advice that points you at a competitor.

How the guides are written

• Every page carries the date it was last reviewed. That date is only moved when the content genuinely changes. Restamping an unchanged page with today's date is a freshness signal we would be inventing, so we do not do it.
• Competitor figures are dated and sourced. Prices and limits come off the other app's own listing, the date they were read is printed beside them, every app name links to its listing so you can check.
• We publish where we lose. The comparison page has a section listing five things competitors do better than us. It is there because you would find them in week one anyway.
• No invented ratings. Stockwell has no reviews yet, so there is no rating shown anywhere on this site and no rating markup in its code.

What Stockwell is not

It is not an inventory system. No purchase orders, no supplier records, no demand forecasting. If you need any of those, the comparison page names the apps that have them and several of them are cheaper than us at the sizes where they win.
